The Lang 788XCXC1-240A Electric Griddle Relay is a 240V switching component used within the heating control circuit of compatible kitchen equipment. The component responds to the low-power control circuit and switches the higher-power heating circuit as commanded by the temperature-control system. When activated, its contacts complete the applicable electrical path to the heating elements when deactivated, the circuit is opened to stop heat delivery. It connects to the griddle's internal wiring and works with the thermostat, controller, and heating elements to manage the heating cycle.
