The Scotsman A40173-1 Extruder Bearing Assembly supports the rotational stability of the auger shaft by offering support in the rotational direction in the ice-forming part. The bearing causes reduced direct contact with the metal and ensures the alignment of the auger as the drive motor rotates it in the continuous load scenario. The component is designed to meet the shaft dimension and housing tolerance of the extruder system.
