The Market Forge 10-4035 Solenoid Dole Valve is an electrically powered valve that is used to regulate the flow of water or steam in compatible cooking equipment. It operates on the concept of an electromagnetic coil of 120 volts, which, when an electrical current is passed through it, causes the internal plunger to lift the valve open so that fluid may pass through the 3/8-inch connection. Once the power is removed, the plunger goes back to its closed position and halts the flow. The valve is commonly fitted in the water or steam supply line involving foodservice equipment.
