The Scotsman 12-1646-04 Water Inlet Solenoid Valve 240V is a water control part that is installed in commercial ice machines to control the water supply during the ice production cycle. It operates based on an electrically operated solenoid coil, which opens and closes the valve as the machine control system signals it to do so, and allowing water to enter the reservoir or evaporator section as necessary. This part is installed between the external water line and the inlet system in the internal water supply assembly of compatible ice makers, such as selected CM and CMS series ice makers.
