The Southbend SOU1180866 Gas Safety Valve is a control component designed to regulate gas flow within commercial cooking ranges. In case of flame loss the valve automatically closes to avoid the release of unburned gas. It is installed in the burner control system and is essential in ensuring secure and controlled combustion. The valve is frequently applied in replacement to enable the valve to resume normal secure operation and maintain consistent range operation in commercial kitchen settings.
