The Southbend SOU9226-1 Spark Ignition Module is an electronic control system that produces a high voltage spark to ignite gas burners in commercial cooking systems. It is found in ovens, ranges and steam equipment and uses a 24V ignition system to start the combustion process when the systems is turned on. Mounted in the systems control assembly, it operates in conjunction with other ignition components to establish the flame and provide start-up. The module provide to the maintenance of the systems and is used for repair or replacement in suitable systems.
