The Blodgett 19780 Door Helper Spring is a must have component for use with commercial ovens, especially for 1048 models. This spring measures 1-1/4" wide, with a coil length of 4-3/8" and an overall length of 6-3/4", and has 33 coils for robust support of oven doors. A function of the oven door helper spring is to facilitate the opening and closing of heavy oven doors in a safe and trouble free manner. Its reduction in weight on the door side counterbalances the door which limits the strain over the operator and the door mechanisms, extending the durability of the oven.
