The Delfield TBP00142 High Limit Switch is a temperature safety part that is used in commercial and heated equipment to check and regulate the highest operating temperatures. The 25-amp rating is fixed at 375°F, and when the temperature is higher, the circuit is opened, allowing the external heat to dissipate and the internal parts to be cooled. This switch is installed with the temperature control system in the appliance to provide an additional level of security and stability of the system, together with primary controls, in foodservice facilities.
