The Groen Z063048 Thermocouple Snap Fit 36 " 20-30mV 1980 Series is a temperature probe that produces a tiny voltage when it comes into contact with hot air and sends the signal to the control system which in turn regulates the operation of appliances. It works on the concept of sensing the amount of heat on the tip and sending a reference millivolt signal to the control module of the system to ensure proper temperature control. It is a simple and easily installed thermocouple that clips into position within the heating unit or appliance where the temperature needs to be sensed.
