The Market Forge 97-6289 Thermocouple 100" is a temperature sensing secure part used in commercial systems. It senses the situation of the pilot or burner flame, and creates a low voltage signal which is used to connect to the gas secure control system of the system. The longer lead of 100" enables installation in convection steamer configurations where longer routing is needed in the unit. It is used in the burner or ignition system of food service, restaurant commercial steam cooking units. The thermocouple is used as a secure circuit to keep the gas supply on for only when a proper flame is detected.
