Star 2T-40509 Thermostat

The Star Mfg 2T-40509 Thermostat detects the ambient temperature using an internal sensing element and converts the value into an electrical signal that controls the heating or cooling circuits on or off depending on the setpoint settings. A control relay reacts to temperature variation by opening or closing contacts, to enable control of heat or cooling production until the desired state is achieved, with a differential control logic to minimize switching and provide a stable control within set limits. The thermostat is mounted in control panels or temperature regulation assemblies where circuit control is needed in automated temperature control circuits.
