The Star Mfg 2T-Z5958 Oven SA Thermostat is for controlling the temperature in equipment, which works between 100°F and 450°F. In addition, this thermostat has a 36 inches capillary tube and 3/16 inches bulb for the accurate measurement of temperature. Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to starting the installation, ensure that the griddle is disconnected from its power source for safety purposes.

Step 2: To reach the thermostat section, take off the front or control panel of the griddle.

Step 3: Detach the old thermostat by disconnecting its electrical connectors and carefully removing the capillary tube from its mounting clips.

Step 4: Verify that the new thermostat (Star 2T-Z5958) matches the old one by checking the part number and the length of the tube.

Step 5: Position the new thermostat, ensuring that the capillary bulb and tube are routed and secured in the same clips as the original to maintain proper temperature sensing.

Step 6: Firmly reconnect the electrical connectors and confirm that the thermostat is installed in the same orientation as it was originally.

Step 7: Reinstall the control panel, turn the power back on, and check the griddle's temperature setting to confirm proper functionality and accurate heat regulation.
