How do I install the Vulcan Hart 00-913066 Thermostat Kit?

Turn off gas and let equipment cool.
Remove the existing thermostat control — detach knob, housing, and thermocouple or sensor bulb and capillary.
Insert the new Thermostat Kit: mount the thermostat body securely, install the red knob and route the 48" capillary tube so it reaches the sensing point without sharp bends.
Secure the bulb in its proper location in the oven or cooking chamber.
Reassemble any covers, restore gas/power, set the knob to a mid‑temperature setting, then test functionality — verify the unit heats and cycles off/on around setpoints.

What are the operating limitations for the Vulcan Hart 00-913066 Thermostat Kit?

The thermostat kit uses a 48″ capillary with an 11″ sensing bulb, and includes an oven‑type BJ thermostat with dial markings from OFF → LOW → 250 → 500 °F.
