The Star Mfg 2V-80503-01 Gas Pilot Safety Valve K-Type W/1/2" NPT In/Out 1/4" CCT is gas control valve for use in compatible commercial kitchen equipment. It controls the supply of gas to the pilot burner and will shut off the gas if the pilot flame is extinguished. It is positioned in the gas line of the systems and has 1/2" NPT connections for the inlet and outlet and 1/4" CCT for the pilot line. It is part of the secure system operating with a thermocouple to detect the presence of the flame and prevents the release of unburned gas.
