The Blodgett 40612 Tilting Kettle Safety Relief Valve 3/4" 35 PSI controls the internal pressure by opening a spring-loaded mechanism when the steam pressure reaches a predetermined limit, to allow controlled release to prevent over-accumulation. When the pressure decreases the valve reseats and ensures controlled venting in the kettle assembly and directs excess steam through the discharge outlet to be operated under controlled conditions by adjusting pressure release settings. The unit is mounted on the tilting kettle pressure line, where it is connected with the secure relief assembly of commercial cooking equipment in the kettle control system architecture during pressure operation cycles.
