The Hoshizaki 4A1482-01 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is an essential part of the refrigerant flow regulation system of ice making equipment, which is used with R-404A. Made of heavy duty copper, this valve is 1/4" ODF inlet and 3/8" ODF outlet for use with many ice machine models. The refrigeration system consists of a pressure release system that responds to temperature and pressure changes, to keep the system within an optimal working range in order to optimize the production of ice. This valve also increases energy efficiency in the ice machine provides better refrigerant control.
