The Star Mfg WS-64969 Thermostat is a temperature control component designed to regulate heating equipment within a 100°F to 450°F operating range. It uses a 3/1" by 11-5/8" sensing element with a 36" capillary tube to monitor temperature at the designated heating area. Installed with the sensing element positioned near the controlled heat source, the thermostat responds to temperature changes and switches the heating circuit as the setpoint is reached or falls below required level. This mechanical control work with the heating system to maintain the selected operating temperature in compatible equipment.
