The Montague 01040-5 1/2" LP Gas Pressure Regulator is an essential component that is used in commercial cooking parts. It has 1/2" female pipe thread inlet and outlet ports, and is attached to sustain a constant range of propane pressure of 5.5 to 12 inches of water column with a 1/2 lb inlet specification. This regulator is in the gas supply line before the burners of the appliance to assist in maintaining a steady gas supply and correcting combustion in the appliance under different conditions. The proper operation of the burner ensures that the supply pressure is adjusted to the needs of the appliance.
