Manufacturer:
The Imperial 1220 Cast Iron Top Grate is a substitute cooking grate designed for compatible commercial ranges and food service equipment. The grate measures 24 x 6 inches and features 3 cross bars with 11 ribs, defining its size and cooking-surface configuration. Installed above the burner, it supports cookware while allowing heat to pass through spaces between the ribs. The cast iron construction provides a rigid surface for pots and pans during cooking. Its ribbed layout distribute cookware support across grate while maintaining openings for heat transfer from the burner assembly to the cooking vessel.
