The Garland 227120 Oven Pilot Safety Valve 1/2" NPT TS11is spare component that is designed at controlling the amount of gas in commercial equipment. It operates by a magnet-controlled mechanism whereby constant heat is needed by the pilot to keep the opening open so that the gas flow is immediately shut off when the flame is broken. The valve is designed to fit directly into the gas line of compatible appliances and is connected to the burner and pilot assemblies. Its application improves the level of security, eliminates unburned gases and facilitates proper operation which is necessary in ensuring secure and effective cooking.
