The Star Mfg 2T-9566 Hi-Limit Thermostat Tube 450F is designed to open the control circuit to stop heating when the temperature becomes too high is used in commercial system. It features a temperature-sensitive sensing bulb which is coupled to a 30-inch capillary tube that causes a cutoff response when the preset limit is reached and resets when temperature returns to an acceptable operating range, either manually or automatically as per the configuration. Installed on commercial cooking equipment or heating assemblies to provide over-temperature shutdown control to protect heating elements and to assist in meeting equipment temperature limit requirements in controlled thermal applications.
