The Delfield 3516173 Fan Guard 6-3/8" DIA is a protective cover used in commercial foodservice equipment. It is made of plastic and has centres of 7-1/2-inch mounting holes to fit over the assembly so that it will not be in contact with rotating blades during normal operation and service. This guard prevents the damage of personnel and components and allows the airflow necessary to cool the components. It assists in proper and steady airflow management. This is usually changed during maintenance or repairs in case it is cracked or lost.
