The Vulcan Hart 416961-G1 Hi-Limit-Thermostat is a temperature control part commonly used in commercial fryers against overheating conditions. A 1/4" x 4-7/8" nickel bulb together with a 24" capillary tube serves as the temperature monitoring components of the thermostat. The thermostat protects the fryer by checking the oil temperature inside its tank. When the oil temperature reaches 435°F or higher the thermostat activates to disable heating elements protecting against fires and equipment harm. The safety part includes a manual reset capability which serves fryers operating in EEF-M/SM, REF-M/SM, SPE, and SPER series models.
