The Hobart 428807-00001 Control Valve is a replacement gas control part of compatible commercial oven. It controls the gas flow to the burners to enable the temperature to be controlled accurately to ensure uniform cooking and even browning. It is placed in the gas supply system of the oven to make sure that it modulates the high and low heat settings. Replacement is done when the valve is leaking, sticking or malfunctioning, and it is returned to safe and accurate functioning.
