The Star Mfg 6534 Griddle Element is designed to be used with compatible commercial cooking equipment and systems. This can be used to generate the temperature below the cooking surface to prepare the food in a kitchen. It is used in restaurants, food counters and catering where flat-top cooking equipment is used during the service. The element is part of the griddle assembly, and to keep the cooking surface at a consistent temperature. In commercial foodservice applications, the component is replaced during servicing operations such as when there are heating inconsistencies, damaged electrical sections or worn cooking system components.
