The Fisher Manufacturing 71463 Backflow Preventer Lead Free SS 3/4" is a flow control component for commercial plumbing and foodservice water systems. It can be easily installed in compatible water supply lines to, prevent contaminated or used water from returning to the main water supply. The preventer operates by a valve system that is built into it that reacts to pressure changes and prevents the pipeline from moving in reverse. It is used to supports ensure secure water handling during equipment use. Its operation is to ensure that water flows in one direction only and to maintain of the water entering the system.
