The Nieco 8008 Upper Infrared Burner/Reverberator is a system that generates radiant heat by burning gas on the burner plate and reflecting the heat off the reverberator plate. It operates by circulating the gas in the burner, where it burns, and the reverberator reflects infrared heat to the cooking surface. This unit is fitted in the heating part of a compatible commercial broiling apparatus. The burner is fitted to the inside gas manifold and mounting points within the unit. It finds application in commercial broilers, whereby infrared heating units are used to cook and brown food products by providing radiant heat.
