The Nieco NC8420 Upper Infrared Burner and Reverberator produces radiant heat by the combustion of gases on the burner surface and redirects the heat by means of a mounted reverberator panel. It operates by enabling gas to pass through the burner assembly, whereby ignition generates infrared heat, which is reflected into the cooking area. The assembly is connected to the internal frame, and is connected to the gas supply manifold. It finds application in commercial cooking equipment where the infrared burner systems provide high levels of heat that are used in broiling and grilling processes.
