The Dean 816-0135PK Drain Valve O-Ring Pack 4 contains multiple sealing rings designed for a commercial deep fryer assembly. Each O-ring is seated in accuracy grooves inside the body where it compresses against the moving stem to form a tight seal. As the drain mechanism is actuated, the rings deform slightly to maintain contact with internal metal surfaces while allowing controlled motion of the components. They operate at the interface between the valve stem and housing, preventing oil escape through the drain passage and maintaining separation between the reservoir chamber and outlet channel during operation.
