The Tri-Star AS-311011 Safety Valve Assembly FPT W/ CCT Adaptors 3/8 is a gas control part that is compatible with commercial cooking equipment. This valve system controls the flow of gases and offers a protective shutoff in case of unsafe conditions of operation. The 3/8-inch female pipe thread fits with CCT adaptors to enable it to be integrated with the appliance gas supply system. It is installed in the gas control line and assists in the control of fuel delivery to the burner assembly when it is operating.
