The Bunn BU12689.1000 Automatic Brewer Hot Water Coil Kit is an electric heating assembly used in compatible commercial systems to heat water for the brewing process. Its resistance coil converts electrical current into thermal energy, transferring heat directly to the surrounding water inside the heating area. Installed within the brewer’s water tank or designated heating compartment, the coil operates under the control of the temperature-regulating circuit. When energized, it raises water temperature when power is interrupted, heating stops. This controlled operation maintains the water temperature required for brewing and provides heated water to the proper dispensing or brewing circuit during equipment operation.
