The Southbend 4440402 Burner valve controls the supply of gas to the burner, and the gas supply can be opened, adjusted, or closed when the equipment is in operation is a commercial system. It operates by an internal valve mechanism that regulates the quantity of gas flowing between the inlet and outlet connections which assists in the correct burning of the ignition and combustion of the burner flame. The component is usually fitted in the gas supply line assembly of commercial cooking equipment between the gas source and the burner system.
