The McCall CIN0010 Shaft Fan Motor 6" is a motor that converts electrical energy into rotational energy to rotate the fan shaft to assist in rotating the fan shaft in mechanical assemblies used for commercial systems. It has a 120 VAC input to connect internal windings to form a magnetic field that rotates the shaft to circulate air across the connected components by induction of electromagnetic fields and controlled commutation in the stator and rotor assembly. The motor is commonly mounted in fan assemblies where regulated airflow is needed in refrigeration or ventilation equipment mounted in housing frames, aligned with shaft couplings.
