The McCall CIN0010S Shaft Fan Motor 120 VAC 6" is an electric motor that transforms electrical energy into rotational force to rotate a fan shaft. It works by linking the internal winding together to form a magnetic field that spins the shaft at a regulated speed to aid in maintaining a steady airflow in equipment. The internal rotor is in contact with stator windings to ensure that the torque output is continuous under different load conditions without interruption. It is installed in fan assemblies or blower units where air circulation is to be driven by a shaft and aligned to facilitate a rotational airflow path.
