The Kold Draft 102146201 Float Switch is a system that measures the level of water inside the ice machine with a buoyancy mechanism that open an internal switch when the water is either high or low which then open electrical contact to control circuitry when the machine is in operation. It control the filling cycle by transmitting signal to initiate or terminate ice production in response to observed changes in water height ensuring that there is appropriate cycle control logic in the unit. Installation is in the ice machine water reservoir or float chamber usually in the lower part where constant monitoring of the water level is necessary to activate.
