The Garland GL2619500 Range Gas Solenoid Valve 60Hz is a gas flow controller that operates an electrically operated valve to open and close in response to control signals via an internal control circuit and valve body assembly. With 24V applied the internal solenoid coil becomes connected and moves the plunger to permit or prevent gas flow through the 3/8-inch port in response to system commands to burner control sequencing. It is installed in line with commercial cooking equipment gas supply assemblies to control burner operation which is usually mounted close to burner control manifolds in commercial cooking equipment gas lines.
