The Garland GLG02725-16 Knob Insert Overlay is replacement component that displays the temperature settings as the control knob is turned within the operating range. It converts mechanical movement into a temperature to be used in adjusting settings. This overlay is mounted on the front face of the range control knob where the settings are shown. It is marked between 150°F-500°F which corresponds to prescribed temperatures. The flat and circular shape enables it to be sat on in the knob and align with the control markings around it consistently when using.
