The Cleveland KE00350 Steam Kettle Relief Valve 1/2" 15 PSI is a pressure relief valve with a polished chrome finish to protect the commercial steam jacket. From excessive internal pressure installed on the kettles and the valve remains closed during normal operation and automatically opens when system pressure reaches its set point venting steam to reduce pressure before resealing. It operates independently of the temperature controls while working with the steam jacket system and pressure controls to maintain secure operation conditions prevent overpressure within the kettle.
