The Cleveland KE02055-2 Steam Kettle Relief Valve 1/2" 15 PSI Chrome Polished is a pressure relief valve factory-set for use on commercial steam-jacketed kettles. Installed on the steam jacket it remains closed during normal operation and automatically vents excess steam when internal pressure reaches the preset limit. Once pressure returns to a secure level the valve reseats to restore a sealed system. It operates independently while working with the steam jacket pressure controls and steam generator to protect the kettle from overpressure and maintain secure operating conditions.
