The Delfield MCC85143 Valve TXV is used to control the flow by adjusting the flow of liquid, entering the evaporator based on the conditions of the system. It is built to take R404A refrigerant, and has 1/4 inch inlet and 3/8 inch outlet ODF connections with internal components that are calibrated. It is installed in the system liquid line and it links the condenser and evaporator assemblies. The valve regulates the flow to balance the system and change the flow according to the changes in pressure and temperature.
