The Pitco PP10770 Natural Gas Valve with 1/2" female pipe thread is a control component in commercial kitchen equipment to control the amount of gas flowing at 3.5" water column pressure. It operates by opening on a 24/12 VDC signal and closing automatically, when the signal is cut off to prevent abnormal conditions. The valve will be installed in the gas supply assembly which will connect the fuel source to the burner parts. It is used in the system to provide controlled gas delivery secure and consistent operation.
