The Component Hardware Group R35-3105X Mechanical Latch With Strike Brass Roller & Insulated Handle works by holding the door closed by connecting a brass roller and strike mechanism. The insulated handle enables it to be opened and closed manually, but there is a separation between the handle surface and the internal latch assembly. It is often installed on commercial refrigeration units, storage cabinets and foodservice equipment doors where controlled access and door closure are needed. The latch system facilitates the opening and closing of the latch in kitchen and service conditions.
