The Market Forge 97-5009 Safety Relief Valve is used on compatible commercial cooking equipment. Installed on the pressurised section of the equipment, it provides an automatic release point when system pressure rises beyond the 50 PSI rating. The valves 3/4" MNPT connection allows it to fit into compatible steam system piping configurations. Its operation is to assist with pressure management during equipment operation, assisting to protect internal components such as steam chambers and connected fittings from conditions caused by excessive pressure accumulation.
