The Southbend 1175300 Range Door Switch is a momentary on/off microswitch used in ovens with 125/250V, 25A. It works by sensing whether the oven door is properly shut in order to control the oven light, and the safety of the operation during the cook and clean processes. This switch has the following advantages safety is improved by preventing the oven from operating when door is open, energy efficiency is improved through automatic light control, and ease of replacement for maximum oven performance.
