The Pitco P6072128 Tube Screen 11-1/2" X 11-1/2" is a filter that is used to trap debris in the fryer by letting oil flow through the filter but trapping food particles and sediment. It works as a shield to cover the fryer tube space, so that it does not clog and to ensure that the oil flows correctly when it is in use. This element is installed in the fryer and is located either above or around the tube section where heat transfer takes place. It is made of a wire mesh panel, which is inserted into the fryer assembly to maintain the same cooking Conditions.
