The Star Mfg Q9-60101-63 Dual Gas Solenoid Valve Kit has a pair of solenoid-activated valves that react to an electric control signal to initiate or turn off the flow of gas into the burner manifold. Each of the solenoids creates a magnetic field when power is applied, and it moves the valve mechanism to control the delivery of fuel at various points of a cooking heating cycle. The assembly is installed in the line of gas supply inside the equipment in the inner service compartment, in front of the main burners. It is connected to the control board and harness and coordinates with the other parts to sequence the gas supply to operate in dual-stage mode.
