The Vulcan Hart VH411170-1 Strike Door is the permanent contact point that the door latch fits when closing the door. When the door is pushed closed, the latch clamps the strike surface to keep the door firmly seated on the frame until it is forced open. This strike is attached to the frame of compatible cooking equipment at the point of the door to the body. Its edges and holes are to be mounted fit certain latch hardware requirements.
