The Johnson Controls Y75AA4 Flame Sensor is an element that will be used to detect the presence of flame in the relevant combustion control systems. It operates by inserting its 1-3/8 will probe in the flame of the burner to allow it to sense the presence of heat or ionisation and send the signal down the 1/4 inch 90 electrical tab into the controller. The sensor is placed in the designated burner mounting area, where it is needed to be accurate at sensing the flame.
