The Groen 003460 1/4" FPT Hot Water Solenoid Valve NC 110/120V is an electrically operated normally closed valve which controls the flow of hot water in commercial foodservice equipment. It is energized by a 110/120V electrical signal, opening to permit water to flow when energized and closing automatically when de-energized from the power source, through the 1/4 female pipe thread connection. Typically used in appliances and similar cooking equipment that needs precise water control. It is a vital control point within the system that controls the water flow to the water inlet pipes for the heating, steaming or cleaning cycles in a commercial kitchen.
