The Groen 045398 Hot Water Solenoid Valve is a normally closed 2-way control valve with a 1/4-inch female pipe thread connection and a 110/120V coil designed for commercial systems. Installed in the hot water supply line the valve remains closed until the control circuit energizes the solenoid coil and the internal plunger to allow water flow. When power is removed the valve automatically closes to stop flow. It works with the controller water supply and heating system to regulate water delivery during normal equipment operation.
